“I met Katie O’Brien of the Katie O’Brien Duo when my wife and I were leaving Tremezzo Ristorante in Woburn after dinner. We heard an amazing voice and when we turned to listen, we decided to stay and hear more. We then went to see them a few weeks later – and at that moment, we decided to hire them to sing at my company’s holiday party. They were excellent! They showed up early, set up and put on an amazing show at the Fox and Hound Wood Grille and Tavern. Their performance was brilliant! Our employees requested songs and they played them all night long. The owner and staff at the restaurant enjoyed them so much, they want them back to play on weekends. "Ok--I admit it. I am a Midwest wedding snob. I am at the point in my life where I am either planning a child's wedding or attending a friends' child's wedding. Pre-covid we logged 8-12 a year...usually all in the summer. The wedding band can make up for not great food, bad weather or awkward table mates. Nothing is greater than a wedding with a kick-ass band and tons of dancing! Our son was getting married in New Hampshire. Most of the guests are coming from the Midwest, and the Mother of the groom is ALL about the band! I was nervous...I did not want a DJ, I wanted a band..an extra horn and uplighting to warm the white tent. Enter Cover Story Agency...Chris was our contact and he set us loose on the website...I was open minded...(remember though, I am a Midwest band snob).
And as if sent from the heavens...we saw the clip of Katie and Sam. We were pretty pumped...she had some pipes on her that was even evident in the video. Lots of planning...lots of songs to choose from...lots of discussions about the "feel and vibe" we were looking to create. The list was made and fingers were crossed...Music at the ceremony was gentle and sweeping...beautiful.
And then it was time for the party! From the first note of the wedding party introductions, to the end of the evening...the house was rocking! These people are TOP-NOTCH PROFESSIONALS! Seriously...EVERYONE was dancing, happy and joyful! We actually had to ask people to stop in order to serve dinner. They read the room with precision; the song list was varied and amazing! Their energy and passion for what they do was off the charts! They are the real deal--and that is coming from a self-professed Midwest Band Snob!
We did not want the evening to end and extended the party for another half hour. No one left...the dance floor was packed! I cannot say enough about the KTO Band! If you are looking for a group to set your party in motion and send it soaring, they are it! Katie has the voice of an angel and the band is in sync and raging with talent and precision. OUTSTANDING!! Luckily for us the weather was perfect, the food was excellent, and the band put this Midwest snob in her place...OVER THE MOON at her son's KICK ASS wedding!!"

"I first heard Katie at Hopothecary in N Reading. We could hear some of our favorite acoustic tunes being sung live in the other room so I made sure to follow up with a phone call to the brewery
the next day to find out who that awesome singer was - and learned it was Katie O'Brien. I checked out her website, saw that she's part of a full wedding band and hmmm. At the time, we were in the beginning stages of planning a 40th birthday party for a close family friend. He would tell me how great this band was that he'd been listening to on Friday nights at the Harbor Lounge at the Encore. Then the AHA moment...it was the KTO Wedding Band! I called Katie to speak with her about doing his private party (in our backyard) and despite the fact that she could have booked a wedding gig that August Saturday, she was extremely enthusiastic and accommodating. We wanted something a little more upbeat than the acoustic duo and Katie suggested we add a drummer to kick it up a bit, and the KTO Trio was born!
They were amazing- the sound, the music, the vibe all perfect.
And they can do everything from rap to country to pop, 80s, to latest top hits. Katie even helped by participating in the tributes. I can't say enough about how great the KTO Trio was.
They made a good party one everyone will remember.
A friend liked them so much she hired them to play at her Oktoberfest next month and I already have another idea for a gig next September. Thank you Katie & crew! See you soon."

You can’t go wrong with this group!! KTO played our wedding this past weekend and they were beyond our wildest expectations. This was a musicians’ wedding with plenty of critical ears in attendance - the band was by far the highlight of the night from everyone. They were extremely professional and played a wide range of music at a high level. Some wedding bands don’t rehearse/throw things together last minute - not this band. They were polished and it was evident that they play together regularly. Everyone was on the dance floor immediately, and stayed there all night. Stop searching and hire them - and add the horn section. It’s absolutely worth it. Thank you so much KTO!! -- Sam
We hired KTO for our wedding band after receiving a recommendation from a friend. It was a second wedding for both of us and so it was an older group of guests. Surprisingly the dance floor was packed the entire time! The music was spectacular! We added a trumpet and sax to the base band of six members and highly recommend them all.
